i had a very different chinese new year this year.

on the eve of 除夕, packed all the drawers in the house
managed to throw away stuff that are older than me la.
papers, bills and documents from year 1985. =SS

除夕's reunion lunch is at my house where the relatives came to eat.
house was in a major mess and super oily after everybody left.
watched the tv and 守岁 until 12am! =DD

初一 was spent going to my cousin's house, my aunty's house.
and everyone gathered at my grandaunt house all the way near harbourfront there.
and its VERY FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no traditional steamboat, but a potluck session.
gambled till 3am at 2 different places and went home.

初二, met up with kenneth the driver, shirmain the pregnant woman, yiyang the husband of the pregnant woman and shirin with her super 突破 fringe.hahahhaa
after ALOT of obstacles and difficulties,
like finding our way around bukit merah to pick up shirin,
going round sentosa THREE times to find a carpark,
and staying in the carpark for 15 minutes for a parking space.
we went sentosa for the flowers show! =DD
and hanyong managed to come into the 人山人海 de sentosa using his powerful islander membership.hahahhaa.

there are alot of people there lor.maybe can fight with the number of people at chinatown.hahaha.
flowers are okay~ got alot clolours!lol.
dinner at the hong kong restaurant and settled down at vivo.
played truth or dare cum india poker.
alot of stupid questions were asked
left the place at 11.30.
nice kenneth drove some of us home
and home sweet home at 12.30.

chinese new year is coming!
but not much mood, cause is going to be sooooooo different from the past 18 years...

and the only thing i like about chinese new year,
is that i actually get an excuse to nag at my brother to pack his things.hahahaa.
the house is super messy!and its totally not my fault okay.

i have alot of gifts/cards to get..!
for the past special days like christmas (!), new year..
and the coming chinese new year and valentine's day.

i should really go take a walk around shopping malls soon.

sunday marks the end of the one month diet plan!!

and peiwen reminded me today that there are EIGHT working days left...!!!
yet to find the presents that i want to get for my colleagues.

after spending like 3.5 hours in a salon,
my hair is like ultra flat now.
no more helmet le okay!LOL.
心痛 when i am paying for it sia.
but felt abit better after i know how much my colleague spent on hers. =SS

i am a happy kid today!
though i slack for about.........3 hours?
and asked some real stupid questions.
because i finally decided on what to get for my colleagues on my last day..! =DD
my art is seriously cmi, so shall get them things to eat instead.
shall keep a look out for it. =))

yesterday!
went meet christine, hanyong, kenneth ,weiren and yiyang at town to have dinner at pepper lunch! =D
realised i have ALOT of things i super long never eat le, pepper lunch included.hahaha.
and unsurprisingly, no one was early for dinner, so had a late dinner, aimlessly walked about, look look see see and went home. =))
and i hope we are really going to somewhere after this whole thing man.hahahaa.

sunday!
went to support the last concert of the 8 xbros in np band at SCH with shirin.
sat with kokwey and friends.

and the people there is really irritating..!!!
cannot even drink plain water, what if the person is seriously dehydrating..?
IRRITATING la..!!
i drink water also must 偷偷摸摸 lor.grrrs.
got one of them even warn us that they will confiscate our bottles. -.-

today!
lunch was niceeeeee and yummy and long-time-no-eat de burger king at the one and only expo!hahahhaa.
cause my colleagues wanted to go for the john little sale.
walked around, wanted to get a pillow and bolster,
but decided to buy it after work.

and oh.
there is this first tattoo show in singapore at expo also.
look very hip la.
the people going inside also very hip.
got alot of colours on their hands, legs, necks.
got one even on the scalp la.
abit scary to walk past it.
somemore i carrying one pillow and one bolster.
hahahhaa.

took the train to changi,
took a bus.
i managed to occupy only one seat. =))
and at some point, the policeman will board the bus and check de ma.
and i thought he might check me la.wahahhaa.
and the people would rather stand than sit beside me.

so maybe next time we can sabo the birthday kid by making the person hold a pillow and a bolster and walk down orchard road..! =DDD

i hope np changes back to turnitin for the plagiarism thing.
the safe assign always makes me feel very 紧张 can.

been clearing it these 2 days and everyday i see at least 5 advertisements about things selling in campus.
think school is becoming like a shopping mall already.lol.

sometimes after a day of work, i will feel giddy even though i get to sit down for at least 8.5 hours out of the 9.
then i finally realised why already..!

cause everyday we have to open alot of windows on the computer screen,
and look at alot of windows,

until i feel giddy.

and i already got a feeling that year 2009 is not a good year already...

31st dec.
brought two pairs of shoes during lunchtime at metro expo sale..!!
but felt pretty guilty after that.hahahhaa.
left the office at 3.

went over to raffles place
walk and walk and walk until my legs half crippled already.
and all the cafes and shops in that area chooses to close at 3 during new year's eve. -.-

finally settled down at coffee club opposite 老巴刹 and 奢侈-ly had a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of cake. =))

nice!!
but a cup of hot chocolate and a chocolate cake is too much already.hahaha.

met up with shirin and walked over to have thai express for dinner with her 2 other secondary friends.hahaha.
first time eating at thai express sia.lol.

the "glass noodles" that shirin recommended is niceeeeee..!!!
the sauce dont know is what, but tastes abit like ketchup leh.hahaha.
desert was unique de coconut ice cream and pretty red rubies. =))

went to find seats.
being the ah lian in shirin, she managed to find a very spacious space for the 4 of us at the bridge..!!
but with dirty looks from all sides.

got to hear the performance that esplanade organised.
and its seriously not good please.opps.
got 3 bands and only one can make it ba.
the chicken seriously irritates me like dont know what.

stared at thoes balls with wishes floating on the water and changing colour, waving to the guys patrolling the water, watching the non-moving singapore flyer flashing with colourful lights.

tiring sia.

but the fireworks at 12.00am damn nice please.
awwwwww.
the fireworks still got music de lor.
the instrumental and musical part damn emo.and shoot up damn high.
and the chaotic part is really chaotic.fireworks shooting from EVERYWHERE!hahaha.
and the last part is wooooooohooooooooooooo!
super loud but super nice!!!haahaha.
the ending abit emo though.lol.

and funny la.
the shirin was silently taking video of the fireworks,
and her friends were also quite 冷静 while watching the fireworks lor.hahahha.

wont regret standing there and watch.hahahhaa.
and we had a nice view too!! =))
